Hay is an essential part of the diet for many small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas. It is offered to the animals continuously. These animals would certainly prefer to eat fresh grass around the clock. Of course, this is not possible, especially in the winter months, even the fresh grass after the winter is not suitable as fodder.
